KONE will hold elevator safety days at Park Avenue

On May 16 and 22, the elevator company KONE in Kiev will hold safety days in elevators for the Comfort House service organization and residents of the Park Avenue residential complex. Within the framework of the event, a presentation will be held for the employees of Uyutny Dom LLC, as well as a children's holiday on the topic of child safety in elevators and on escalators.

The promotion will be held as part of the security week that KONE celebrates around the world. During May, the Ukrainian company KONE Elevators will hold various events in order to enhance the safety culture of employees and partners, as well as to promote the safe use of elevator equipment among end users. The theme of the week “There are no trifles in security matters” reveals the conviction that the daily implementation of simple safety rules can prevent accidents.

As a manufacturer of elevator equipment, we consider it our duty to popularize its safe and proper use among users. The main requirement for parents when traveling with children in elevators and on escalators are attentiveness and vigilance behind the children”.
Employees and residents of the Park Avenue complex will take part in the security days of KONE. This residential complex has been operating 18 passenger and cargo-passenger elevators of the KONE brand, which have been under constant maintenance of KONE Lifts since 2010.
Security is a collaborative effort.
The safety of elevators and escalators is the result of a joint effort by the manufacturer, the building owner, the maintenance provider and the end user. As a technology provider, KONE manufactures equipment that meets all current regulations and safety standards. Together with the building owner, KONE, as a service provider, is responsible for maintaining the equipment in a professional state, upgrading it, in accordance with the security requirements. In addition, KONE emphasizes the importance of proper use of elevator equipment by end users. KONE recommends that parents be especially careful when moving children in elevators, and emphasizes that large items, such as baby strollers, heavy luggage or trolleys, should be carried in elevators and not on escalators. KONE actively teaches the culture of proper use of elevator equipment and contributes to the improvement of end-user safety.
